That was with an apple employee by phone. I had done all the "necessary" to solve the problem, the NVRAM and PRAM reset, the reinstallation of High Sierra, nothing changes. My mac is very slow since the High Sierra update, from starting the computer to execute simple multi tasks (seems that it's always related to the GPU). Apple equips most of their Unibody MacBook Pro models with 2 video chipsets.I'm here for the same reasons that ParhamS had exposed before. The Operating System automatically switches between the two chipsets as it sees needed – and sometimes not for the right reasons (although I have to admit that my current MacOS X Lion 10.7.3 does seem to do a better job at it than previous MacOS X versions). Typically one of the graphics chips (often an Intel chip) is used for regular office applications that are not graphics intense – which takes less battery juice and makes your laptop run longer on it’s batteries. This is referred to as the “ integrated” chipset and commonly identified on your MacBook Pro as “ Intel® HD Graphics” (OK, you can stop laughing now ). Dedicated chipsets typically have their own memory. The switching between chipsets is done automatically and triggered by the use of Mac’s Core Animation framework ( OpenGL, OpenCL, Quartz Composer, and Core Graphics). So when an application access the Core Animation framework, the more power hungry chipset is being used. Some examples of climbing rose bushes are: Many require consistent pruning to keep them within a given area and can easily grow out of control if left without care. These, by nature, love to climb up nearly anything. There are large flowered climbing (LCl) roses as well as miniature climbing rose bushes. I really cannot think of roses without envisioning Climbing (Cl) roses growing elegantly up and over an ornate arbor, fence or wall. Within this group or type of roses are the English Roses hybridized by David Austin. Shrub roses are known for their hardiness and feature large clusters of blooms/flares. These are known for their more sprawling habit, growing from 5 to 15 feet (1.5 to 4.5 m.) in every direction, given the right climate and growing conditions. Shrub (S) roses are good for large sized landscape or garden areas. This classification was adopted in 1999 by the American Rose Society (ARS) to recognize the evolution of the rose with their intermediate bloom size and foliage that is between that of the miniature roses and the floribunda. Miniflora roses tend to have an intermediate bloom size that is larger than the miniature roses. Some examples of miniature roses would be: ![]() A good rule of thumb for these roses is that the word “miniature” refers to the size of the blooms, not necessarily the size of the bush. It is important to research the growing habit for the miniature rose bushes to be sure they will work in the garden space or pot available. Their height is usually between 15 and 30 inches (38 and 76 cm). Miniature roses can be small compact bushes that work well in containers/pots on the deck or patio, or they can be bushes that will nearly match the floribundas. The Miniature (Min) and Miniflora (MinFl) roses are also quite popular and are very hardy plants that are grown on their own roots. Many use these roses for edgings or hedges in their gardens. They like to bloom in pretty clusters that are approximately one inch (2.5 cm.) in diameter. Polyantha rose bushes are generally smaller bushes but very hardy and sturdy. Grandifloras are typically tall, elegant plants (growing to a 6 foot (1.5 m.) height is not uncommon), which bloom repeatedly during the season. The first Grandiflora rose bush was named Queen Elizabeth, which was introduced in 1954. Grandiflora roses are a combination of hybrid tea roses and floribunda with some having one-bloom/flare stems and some with cluster blooms/flares (my Australian friends tell me that they call the blooms “flares”). They are the most popular roses sold at florist shops – generally upright growing plants from 3-6 feet (91 cm.-1.5 m.) and blooms available in most colors, except blue and black. Hybrid Tea Rose has a large bloom or flare at the end of a long cane. Probably the most commonly thought of roses are the Hybrid Tea (HT) rose bushes followed closely by the Grandiflora (Gr). With so many rose varieties available, how does one choose? Let’s take a look at some of the most common along with their descriptions. But when compared with the sheer shock and terror of what i experienced in Cragscleft Prison for the first time playing, they just can't measure up. Levels like The Haunted Cathedral, RTC, Bonehoard, Escape, and Shalebridge + other horror games including SS2 and Silent hill all get props for scaring me a fair bit and getting an excellent amount of creepy atmosphere. All it took was a mere gliimpse of movement at the very end of the darkened corridors of the mine, a small glance of movement whose shape i couldn't even make out of the time, a hint of the horror to befall me the rest of the level and i just quit and couldn't even start the game up for the next four days. After several minutes creeping my way through the dank, empty yet cramped, and moaning corridors and barely recovering from the first zombie ambush my nerves were and mental state were on maximum tension level, At least I thought so, After taking the slow elevator up to the second floor. This is the only mission I have ever played in a game that creeped me out so much that I simply had to stop playing, PERIOD There was absolutely nothing scarier then being ambushed by the first zombie who I honestly thought was just a corpse like the one found at the beggining of the level. The scariest mission EVER is Cragscleft Prison for the first time. I can't say if I prefer this one or The Haunted Cathedral. Cradle I love this level, I enjoy every second of it, every single moment, ghosting it and enjoying the tension of lockpicking or even passing thourgh an illuminated area. I always try to be original, but this time I can't. Thief II hasn't the same atmosphere Thief 1 had. So you've got T2 as it is: beautiful, thiefy and sometimes with a faint sign of creepiness. Well, the pussies that played (tried to play) Thief TDP while T2 was in construction, cried for to much tension in the game, to much undead etc. In THC you could feel the dead city, you could smell it. RTC was harder, scarier at times, but due to frequent enemy sightings, it lost the creepy atmosphere that THC had (not completely!). ![]() The Haunted Cathedral was creepier than Return to the Haunted Cathedral, for the atmosphere and lack of the army of enemies. |
